I've been playing softball for almost 9 years. It brings me so much joy and happiness. Even thought sometimes I get really irritated with the results, I still love the sport. 

I have been pitching for almost 5 years now. To be a pitcher, you must have a strong mentality. Only you have the power to manage your emotions. You can't exhibit your anger, no matter how irritated you are. On poor days, pitchers struggle to locate, whereas on good days, you can hit girls with wild pitches to get them out. You can never explain to people how superior those moments are. 

No matter the circumstance, I always like to keep the dugout alive; it's my role! Because mistakes are more likely to occur when people are tense and nervous, I love to keep everyone relaxed.  

I want to inspire other females to take up the sport of softball since it is so exciting. Girls can achieve so much in life because of it. For example colleges, camps, scholarships, etc. Softball is a wildly successful sport that has changed the lives of so many people. I'm hoping softball can help me get there.
