Kate Hrinda '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kate Hrinda, I am a 5’9, 145 pound RH pitcher. I also play second base, third base, and first base. I am a very coachable, and very calm athlete and I work best under pressure. I’ve always been told pressure is a privilege, and being able to handle pressure is one of my best characteristics. My travel coach refers to me as a “stone cold killer” on the mound and that you couldn’t tell whether we were winning or losing based on my demeanor. I have been playing softball since I was 5 years old and have always loved it. I really look forward to the next step in my athletic and academic career.
