Lauren Langenau '28 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lauren Langenau and I attend Merion Mercy Academy. I have learned balance is key, maintaining a 3.9 GPA while developing every day in my softball career. When I was younger and found out I could play softball in college, I made that my ultimate goal. I now understand what playing in college means and the dedication needed. The biggest lesson I have learned and constantly apply is that one mistake doesn't define you as a player, but how you overcome it does. An idea of leadership has always been instilled into me. This has helped me grow as a player and learn to not only focus on my own improvement, but on my teammates. I contribute these ideas and lessons to everything I do. Everyday I continue to put in the effort in order to grow not only as a player, but also as a person.
