Erin Mulholland '20 Recruiting Profile

I am academically looking to combine my interest in mechanical engineering, art and education as a student athlete.  I have learned from the family before me what it takes and looks like to play at the DII and DIII level.   I want to be supported as an athlete to be successful in the classroom and be a part of a school that supports softball with teammates and coaches that will challenge me on the field.

I am a class of 2020 Catcher, and will play wherever my coach needs me.  I started Varsity as a freshman at Delco Christian, and was named All BAL 2nd Team for 2B and All Delco Honorable mention.  My sophomore year I was named Team MVP, All BAL Catcher, and was chosen to play for the InterAC Bicenntennial Carpenter Cup Team sponsored by the Philadelphia Phillies.  I play for Riptide 18U, who I joined for the fall of 2018.  The 2019 team was comprised of a majority of 2019 graduates and needed a catcher to play their final year.  I supplemented my play with North Penn Eclipse, Lansdale when Riptide was not playing during the summer of 2019.  I returned to a new Riptide team for the 2020 season, and am catching and playing second base.  My focus this final season is to continue to develop as a hitter, and be prepared to play in the field wherever my college team needs me.

My faith is important to me, I prefer to play in the cold and not sweltering humidity, I play Varsity soccer as a goalie in the fall, and would like to stay within a 6-8 hour radius of suburban Philadelphia, PA.
