Kailyn Brannon '26 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing sports since I was 5 years old, and currently play on two softball teams and my high school basketball team. My love for softball began in middle school, has extended into high school, and I aspire to continue playing throughout my college career. Starting at short stop for both Keystone Oaks varsity (since my freshman year) and my travel team, West Hills (and for PA Rage the previous 3 years), I was named all-section two years in a row (2024 & 2025) and am ranked #3 in WPIAL for runs. I was also named the Defensive MVP title as starting short stop for the USSSA All-State u16 National Champion Team in December 2024. Although short stop is my primary position, I am a skilled utility player across the infield and outfield. I bring with me:

·         Knowledge - know the game and its strategy

·         Glove – catch everything that comes my way

·         Speed – fast runner and quick reactions during plays

·         Bat – strong batting with a .344 average currently

·         Grit – I give 110% and never give up!

I am also focused on my educational goals. My GPA reflects my commitment to my studies and the importance of my continued learning beyond the field. I plan to study business in college; however, my exact major is not yet decided. I believe that obtaining a college education and learning through playing collegiate softball will position me to be successful in adulthood.
