Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Taylor Bumgardner. I am from Centre Hall, PA. and I'm "ALL IN" to being the best at everything in my life. I have aspirations of playing college softball at the highest level I can possibly achieve. I work tremendously hard all year at my sport. However, my family always come first, then my academics, and my commitment to becoming the best softball player I am capable of becoming. I believe that the only way success is achieved is through consistent, uncompromised hard work on a daily basis. In the classroom, I am an honor roll student that puts academic achievement first. The weight room is my platform to improve my personal athletic ceiling. My commitment to regimented strength training is as much a part of my weekly routine as my player development drills that are also part of my weekly routine. I believe that individual accolades can only be achieved through TEAM success. A players ability to work to be a positive member of a team and be coachable in every aspect is very important. You must be willing to make personal sacrifices for you team. My family functions under several pillars of character: Honesty, Trustworthiness, Respect, Responsibility and Caring. We believe if you live by these pillars you will be successful person, student and athlete.
