Personal Statement
Winning the 16u Eastern National Championships was probably the highlight of my softball career thus far. It taught me what hard work can do and really made me see what a good work ethic amounts to. Even when we lose a game or tournament, I feel that I grow as an athlete, teammate, and person. I learned how important teamwork, work ethic, team bonding, and communication are from my past failures, and I am constantly building on them to improve my game and overall make me a stronger player. Being a 3-sport athlete I have learned that sportsmanship is very important and I always try to be the best teammate and opponent on and off the field, as I feel it is one of the most important parts of any sport.
Not only do athletics matter to me, I am constantly working to improve in the classroom. I am invariably competing for the highest grades and test scores because I know how important they are. I am looking for a program that will help me reach my academic and athletic goals and push me to be a better athlete, student, and person. I feel that I have the skills, mindset, dedication, and experience to really make an impact at the college level, and I am confident that I can be an asset to your team!
I also have a softball Instagram where I post highlights of games or tournaments and the username is blairebalestrini
