Caedence Wells '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My Name is Caedence Wells I am a 2026 graduate and looking to further my academic and athletic careers with a school that best fits me. My academics have always been my number one priority and softball is not far behind it. Softball has been a passion in my family for decades; beginning with my great grandfather, who was inducted into the ASA Softball Hall of Fame. I first stepped on the softball field when I was just 4 years old. I knew I had a love for the game but didn't know exactly what position was a fit for me. I decided I would try catching and I have never looked back. I love everything this position brings to the sport and the fact that I get to be in almost every play of the game and see the entire field and my team in one view.  I have played both travel softball and school ball. I have grown tremendously as an athlete in particular over the last 2 seasons. I have learned the value of taking care of myself both mentally and physically which has had a positive impact on me as a player and leader. I am always willing to go the extra mile to achieve my goals and take pride in helping others achieve their goals as well. This includes our local youth, where I have volunteered to teach fundamental catching skills to local youth and all-star teams. I apply myself to be the best athlete and student I can be. I am and A/B student and looking to be a chiropractor in the future.
