Personal Statement

My name is Emily and I am a junior in the class of 2020 at West Chester Bayard Rustin High School. I have played on varsity every year and it is my goal to continue my softball career in college at a university where I am able to grow both academically and athletically. I have been playing softball nearly my entire life and my love for the game continues to grow. My grandfathers are my biggest inspirations along with the reasons I began playing and I aspire to compete at the collegiate level just like they did.
