Kendra Fox '21 Recruiting Profile

When I first began to play tournament softball, I was on a team that only won one game and had a tough time working together on the field. Being on that team helped me work harder to reach my goals. However, it was the tournament team the following year that help me grow into the person I am today. Being a member of that team provided me the opportunity to reach and exceed my potential as a softball player. It was a tough decision to leave my friends from the previous tournament team and come to a new team where I knew no one, but realizing it was the right decision to find a team that would assist me with my growth as a softball player. Making a hard decision, I made new friends that I can trust on and off the fields. I also believe it was the start of my preparation for college with helping me develop skills I would need as I continue my journey on and out the softball field. 

Throughout the years I have been playing softball I have learned what it means to be on a team, to be a leader, and the importance of time management with school and softball. I had to use my time wisely to maintain my academic and athletic goals. I am looking for a program that will help me succeed on the field as well as in the classroom and in my future. I believe that I will be a good teammate and will work hard for the program.
