I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Blaire Lauthers, and I am a 5'10", 160lb Senior pitcher/infielder currently attending Fannett-Metal High School in Willow Hill, PA. I will be graduating in 2013. I was named Pennsylvania All State, PSBCA, First Team my freshman and sophomore years. I was named Player of the Year by the PSBCA in 2012. I was also awarded Player of the Year in 2011 and 2012 by the area newspaper, Public Opinion, in Chambersburg, PA. I have helped to lead my team to back-to-back District Championships, and a first round state victory against playoff rival, Claysburg-Kimmel in 2011. In 2012, I was the winning pitcher and had the only RBI for Fannett-Metal as we became the PENNSYLVANIA 2012 Class A -- SOFTBALL STATE CHAMPIONS.
As my high school career comes to a close in the next few years, I am looking forward to attending an excellent college and would love to play collegiate softball. My goal is to be a contributing factor in my team's success. I am considering pursuing an Athletic Training or Physical Therapy major, but that is subject to change. As I come from a small community, I am looking for a school in a more rural or suburban area. Division is not a deciding factor in my college search.
