Hi, my name's Julianna! Thanks for taking the time to view my profile. I am 15 years old and go to school in Burrillville, Rhode Island. Since I started playing softball, it has always been a dream of mine to play on a team in college. The funny thing is, I never even wanted my parents to sign me up my first year. I was terrified of facing batters just a couple feet away. I used this young fear to drive me to be the athlete I am today. I am a very driven athlete and love being in a team environment. I would say that I am a very independent person but having a team that has your back is a very reassuring feeling. When I was 8 years old I underwent surgery on my right pinkie, causing me to miss out on a year of travel softball. I had to relearn how to use my pinkie in order to pitch again. After this surgery I learned not to take anything for granted because in an instant, it can all change. I am very committed to my studies and always keep my grades high. The main factor in my college decisions are how the college with fit me academically and playing softball on a team would be a great bonus. Thanks for taking time to view my profile!
