My current goals include majoring in criminal justice and minoring in psychology or behavioral sciences at a four year university after completing high school in 2025. After college, I would like to explore my opportunities to attend law school or enter the work force in the criminal justice/ law enforcement field.
I have played softball since I was 7 years old. I loved the game immediately and always searched (and still do) for ways to advance my abilities and identify areas where I could improve. I believe the spirit of the "team" is one of the most critical ingredients to playing the game. A team can be made up of the best athletes, but if they do not come together to play together and support each other, they cannot advance, excel, and evolve. A softball team is like a second family, you spend most of your time together between practice, games, trainings, and events.
I am my travel team's lead off batter and primary catcher. My secondary position is shortstop but I am also very capable of playing anywhere in the outfield. Though, I do have the knowledge required to play every position on the field. As for school, I am a catcher for my varsity high school softball team and have no consistent position in the batting order. Despite being born and raised in New England, I do some of my best work in warmer climates and find the game more enjoyable on really hot days.
As for my academic achievements and community involvement, I have done tons. To sum it up, I love being involved in as much as I possibly can and working for the community that surrounds me.
I have strong morals and ethical values, am dedicated, loyal, and am willing to put in the work that is required to better myself as a student and as an athlete. I am confident in my ability to do my job as a player on and off the field as well as my ability to be a supportive and dependable teammate.
