My name is Emmersyn Villa, I attended James Bowie High School in Austin, TX, and I played for Diamond Legacy Trevino 18U. I have been playing softball since I was about 4 and began travel ball at about 9. I decided at a pretty young age that I wanted to play collegiate softball and ever since that decision, I have dedicated the majority of my time to learning and growing as a player. Some of my collegiate goals are to make the best of my time at university, set a good path for myself, and leave my mark wherever I go.
In my two years at Yavapai, I’ve excelled exponentially both as a player and a person. I’ve pushed myself beyond my limits and have unlocked abilities in myself I didn’t even know were there. I hope to transfer to a university now to continue to fulfill little me’s dream of playing at the highest level, especially since this is only the beginning of becoming the best I can be.
