Addison Lusk '21 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing softball since I was seven years old and I believe it has had a major hand in shaping me into who I am today. Through softball I have learned the importance of teamwork and persistence as well as dedication and commitment. I am looking for a university which offers my preferred field of study and challenges me on and off the field. I am planning to major in Pre-Veterinary studies and Animal Sciences as I aspire to become a large animal veterinarian as my post-college career. On my travel ball team, my primary position is catcher and my secondary position is third base but over the course of the past three years when called upon by my coach, I have played every position on the field. My passion is catching and I believe I excel at that position and that is where I would be most valuable to your program however, I am prepared to do anything and everything asked of me to help the team succeed. I am a dedicated student who has maintained a 3.89 unweighted GPA throughout my high school years. I have won the academic all district award through our softball program all three years of my high school career thus far. I believe I have what it takes to pursue my aspirations and ultimately achieve my goals.
