Brianna Baird '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Brianna Baird. I live in Dallas, Texas with my aunt Becky. I moved in with my aunt when I was 4 years old due to personal issues of my biological parents. I couldn't be more thankful for the things my aunt has done for me. The situation with my parents has made me a strong young woman, and I truly believe it was part of a greater plan. Throughout high school I have been active in NHS, younglife, Girl Scouts, UIL Math Team, church youth group, International Order of the Rainbow for Girls, and student athletic training. I've always been an accomplished student and my grades are extremely important to me. For me, softball has always been a constant in my life- something for me to lean on. Something that differentiates me as a player is the mental aspect of my game. I'm able to asses myself and make adjustments in order to be successful at the plate, on the mound, and in the field. My goals for college and beyond are to get my undergraduate degree in pre-law or business and then go to law school. Eventually I want to get involved in politics.
