Softball, to me, defines me as a person. Without softball, I wouldn't have realized who I can be. I've played in games where I made the winning hit or the winning score. Those experiences taught me how to be a team leader and even a leader in general. I've since learned that softball can help me in other areas of my life. By playing the sport I love, I may can get a scholarship and play softball in college.
I feel that I've had a positive impact on my teams, and I know that I will have a positive impact on future teams. I like being helpful to my teammates. If someone makes an error, I try to encourage her. When a teammate doesn't understand something - and I do- I explain it. I also listen when a teammate explains something to me. In 2016, I hit my first home run in Colorado. Since then, I've hit four home runs and one grand slam. My stats are not perfect, but I believe my ability to hit the ball has had and will have a great impact on my team.
I would like to play for a coach who will push me to do better and make me work. I also want a coach who will help me with my batting and my defense. I would like a coach who will help me make adjustments with my form. I just want to play softball - whether it's a Division 1 school or a junior college. I will do my best to help any team.
