Hi, I'm Jada. I started playing softball at the age of 6 and fell in love with it. My primary position is shortstop. I play second base when necessary. In my younger years, I played with the Texas Thunderstix for 6 years, then moved to Texas Blaze Bonola for 4 years and currently play for the Texas Bombers STX Salinas. I most memorable softball moment...winning the 2016 Little League Softball World Series in Portland, Oregon. Softball has taught me to be a leader and a team player. My teammates look to me for inspiration and learning softball skills. My goal for college is to become an anesthesiologist while playing softball as well. My Freshman year, I made varsity and played short stop for my high school. I made my way to the top of my school districts ranking for batting average. I was ranked between 1-5. This year (Sophomore year), I could not wait to take the field. I knew my team would come out in first place. Due to the pandemic, we were not able reach our goal. I'm looking forward to Junior year! I am looking for a program that is a good fit for me athletically, academically, and spiritually. I believe I have the talent to compete at college level and my good character, work ethic, and leadership skills, will make an impact on your softball program.
