Ava Nixon '29 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Ava Nixon, and I'm 14 years old; I'm going to the 9th grade. I live in Katy, Texas, and I'm a proud student-athlete. I strive for excellent grades in all my advanced classes and am a dedicated member of the National Junior Honor Society. Balancing multiple sports comes naturally to me. I played volleyball, run cross country, and track in junior high school, but my number one passion has always been softball. I started my softball journey in recreational leagues and transitioned to club softball in 8U. Over the years, I've played as a pitcher, second baseman, and first baseman, but my true love is the outfield. I focus intensely on honing my outfield skills and train very hard to improve. My dream is to play college softball someday. When I'm not on the softball field, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. Traveling with my family is one of my favorite activities; so far, I've visited six states and three countries.
