Ema Ramirez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi coach! My name is Ema Lynn Ramirez and I’m an incoming Senior at United South high school in Laredo Texas. I’m a two year starting varsity catcher with seven years of experience.  This year (2020-2021) had its challenges with not only dealing with Covid but also our high school softball team shortcomings. This only motivated me to be a leader, to work harder and also do my part in my position (catcher) to help my team. I have managed to hold the title of 1st Team All District Catcher these past two years. I feel the way you train is the way you play. Give 100% of yourself in everything you do to not make others happy but to satisfy your soul. Since falling in love with Softball it’s been a dream of mine to play college ball and earn a degree at the same time. I plan to major in kinesiology or psychology and look forward to being part of your team.
