First and foremost I am a proud daughter to a single mother who has raised not just my self but two other siblings as well. Softball is my home, it’s where I can be myself. I’m a catcher, behind that plate seeing what others can’t is the beauty of it all. I am also a SS/Utility player being the best of both worlds is what makes it fun. When I’m on the field it’s me and my team against the world. When I do something amazing, the feeling of accomplishment sets in because all my hard work has paid off. When I do something good and I see how proud my mother looks on the other side of the fence or how astonished people look it makes me feel good. It takes a lot of heart to do what it takes years for another athlete to accomplish. The excitement, determination ,dedication, responsibility and the discipline it all comes with is what makes it great! Staying humble at all times is the key.
