Payton Moore '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Payton Moore, and I have been in the Corona Angels organization since the Fall of 2020, I am currently a catcher and outfielder for Corona Angels 16U Coleman. I am in the graduating class of 2026, and I have maintained a 4.0 GPA while enrolled in several advanced courses.  My team has qualified for the Alliance Fastpitch Championship for 3 years in a row (‘22,’23,’24). This last summer of 2024 my team won the Colorado Sparkler open and placed first over 247 teams.

I have surrounded myself with the best training to improve my skills and help my team win! To continue performing at my best and enhance my softball skills I train with the E5 Performance Academy under Director of Player Development, Nikki Udria-Ragin. To increase my speed and mobility to be the most versatile at my positions I have been training since 2022 with Ramon Richards, former Division I football player for Oklahoma State University and former NFL player for the LA Rams. My mental skills have been tested and evaluated through S2 Cognition Scoring and Visual Edge. I was selected as one of the top 2026 sixty players in the nation for the 2023 Alliance Fastpitch Stars of Tomorrow Games. 

I not only want to be successful in softball but successful in future careers as well, and I can accomplish this goal because I am a very hard worker. I am a hard worker because I am dedicated to the team, and I always do everything I can to make the team and myself better. I have mastered being comfortable in uncomfortable situations, this shows that I am a very coachable and adaptive player. I am working to get into a four-year university or college with a strong academic program as well as a strong softball program. My favorite part about softball is the family that is created in the team, and everyone working together to achieve our goals and play the sport we all love.
