Maris Medina '10 Recruiting Profile

I have dreamed of playing collegiate softball since I was 8 years old. I have pursued this dream by earning excellent grades in a college preparatory course of study. I have always played for great coaches, with talented players, and against the best competition available. I am looking for not only a college degree, but an education. A degree may open the door to a career, but a good education will put me on track for success. I hope to play for a college team where I can make an impact. I am a strong utility player. My strengh is 3B and SS, but I also play outfield. I am a top notch pitcher and I have a good bat. I work equally on offense, defense, and pitching. I work hard to be the player you always want on the field and in the lineup. I feel strongly that I will be an asset to any college team because I will be mentally, physically, and academically prepared for the challenges facing a collegiate student athlete.
