Avery Puphal '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi coach,

My name is Avery Puphal. I currently play for Athletics Mercado NTX 18U- Briscoe. I primarily play outfield and infield corners, but happy to play anywhere my coach needs me. I have been playing softball since I was 3 years old and playing on select teams since 2018. My biggest strengths are my speed for both running bases and catching fly balls, my hitting and my positive attitude.   

I previously ran track and competed in the 100M dash and pole vault. 

My career goal is to become a pharmacist. I am currently attending the Biomedical Sciences Academy at Byron Nelson High School. Applying and being accepted to this program in the Northwest High School district, provided me a great opportunity to be able to get a head start in taking classes that will help me in college.

In my free time I like to draw, read, paddleboard and run. I completed my fourth half marathon in November 2024.
