Daizie Fuentez '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Daizie Fuentez. I am a 2022 second baseman, and I am from Victoria, Texas. I have been playing ball since I was 3 years old, and fell in love with the game as I got older. I attend Victoria West High School, and have been on varsity since my freshman year. I was a starter my junior year and got named First Team All-District Second Base, First Team All-Area Second Base and All-Academic. I am currently enrolled in dual credit classes, so I have a jump start on getting my basics out of the way, and maintained a 3.8 GPA. I plan on receiving a law degree and becoming a sports agent.

I am a hardworking athlete that continues to push myself past my limits. Not only do I push myself to become better, but I push those around me to better themselves as well. Even on my off days, I always find myself in the cages or on the field, putting in the extra work to push myself to become the best I can be. I push myself in the classroom just as much as I do on the field, in the cages, or the weight room. Maintaining my grades is just as important as softball.
