I'm a 2018 graduate from Syracuse High School in Utah. My current accumulative GPA is 3.97. I have been playing competition softball since I was 8 years old. My main positions are Pitcher, Catcher, Short Stop, and 3rd base. However, I have played every position in a game situation. As a pitcher I have pitched against some junior colleges. For example, CSI, Salt Lake Community College, Utah State Eastern, and Colby Community College. I am currently the starting varsity catcher for Syracuse High School.
My goal is to further my education and while I'm doing that, playing the sport that I love. Softball has been my life ever since I was 4 and I would love to continue and play for as long as I possibly can. I love getting to know all of my teammates and playing with them on the field. I constantly strive to be the best version of myself that I can possibly be. I want to set a good example to my peers and younger girls that may be interested in playing softball. During the high school off season we worked with younger girls, holding softball clinics for various ages and someday I would like to coach a team myself. The one thing that makes me love softball so much is the fact that not only is it just a sport it teaches life lessons that I can use in everyday life. Softball is a game where you fail more that you succeed, but it is how to come back stronger and better each time. Softball has taught me to keep pushing even if things get difficult or don't work out the first time, just keep working and getting better.
