Martina Downs '18 Recruiting Profile

My aspirations in the softball community are to, play at a D1 school and be a starting outfielder/Catcher. To have an overall good batting average.  What makes me a good candidate is, I’m loud, I’m communicative, I will support whoever or whatever 100%. I will put forth 110% effort on and off the field and go hard for every play, every pitch, and every out, every day. What makes me different from other athletes is when it comes to sports what do college scouts look at? Grades so in my perspective I think grades should be #1 in this game. You have to be a student athlete before anything else. What makes me different from others in an athletic prospection is I will work hard and continue to get better every single day i will be committed and I will listen to you with all respect. I have that aggressive drive in me that really cant be coached and it helps me to never stop no matter what happens because I know I won’t give up. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
