My name is Jayla Johnson, and I am a dedicated 14-year-old student-athlete with a passion for softball. Growing up in a military household—my father serving in the U.S. Navy and my mother as an educator—has instilled in me discipline, resilience, and a strong work ethic. I began playing softball at the age of five with the Little Dynamites in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, and since then, my love for the game has only grown. As a coachable athlete, I embrace constructive criticism from both coaches and teammates, always striving to improve. My commitment to the sport goes beyond passion—I push myself mentally and physically to compete at the highest level. My ultimate goal is to play college softball at a highly competitive level while earning a meaningful education. To my future coach: you will be gaining an athlete who refuses to be outworked, a teammate who uplifts those around her, and a player who is relentless in her pursuit of excellence.
