Piper Nissen '23 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5'3 right-handed pitcher and utility player that will graduate from Blaine High School's Class of 2023. I am from Point Roberts, WA and have been playing softball in Canada since Point Roberts is a town surrounded by water on 3 sides and the Canadian border on the other. I am currently on 2 rep teams, I have been on South Delta Invaders 2004 for 3 years and just recently joined Whatcom Wolverines 16u. I started playing softball for Blaine Middle School in 7th grade (where we went undefeated in middle school) and now I'm a starter and Co-Captain of Blaine High School's Varsity Softball Team, the Lady Borderites.  Due to Covid-19, my Freshman year was canceled and my Sophomore year was shortened. I am eager to get back out on the field for my last 2 years of High School Softball. I believe in doing my best on and off the field, putting in the work no matter the challenge I'm always up for, and being there for my team.

I'm looking for a school with good academics and a top softball program. I plan to major in veterinary sciences to become a veterinarian. I am open to different kinds of schools across the United States. I am excited to play college softball and make an impact as it has been a dream of mine since I first started playing.
