My name is Kaley Bartel and I am a junior at Kingston High School.
I've grown up in the same house, stayed in the same city, and have been surrounded by the same people for my entire life. I am fully ready to go out and experience a new atmosphere and discover for myself what else is out there. Having the opportunity to go off to college at all would make me the happiest person in the world, but being given the opportunity to go to college knowing I'm still playing the sport I love would be something I could never thank a coach enough for. Playing college softball would be a life changing experience that I hope more than anything to have.
Academically, I consider myself to be a great student. I'm on honor roll every year and have maintained a 3.6 GPA though high school thus far. I don't procrastinate on any of my assignments, and I have an obsession with having my notes overly organized. Weird, yes, somehow it helps me study!
Athletically, I have been a varsity starter since my freshman year and have been on my current travel team since my sophomore year. Last year I received All-League Honorable Mention and lead my team in RBIs (3rd most in our league), my team voted me offensive MVP. My primary position is outfield, but I am fully comfortable at both midfield positions. I have a strong and consistent bat, this season hitting at .538 for my high school team. When I'm playing, I vocalize myself and make sure to be talking between every pitch, whether it be on offense or defense, because it helps me play better and keeps the team focused at all times.

Note: My skills video is from a year ago and because I have been working hard to improve since it was made, feel it is not an accurate example of what I am capable of. I will be scheduling a recording to update this footage soon.
