Hi coaches! My name is Reyse Phillips and I am the graduating class of 2024 at Kittitas High School in Washington State. I've been around softball my whole life with my dad being the head coach for my schools team, I play shortstop and pitcher and if need be I can also play first base. I stride to have a GPA of 4.0 in two college courses and three high school classes.
I committed myself to softball when I joined my county's league EYBS (Ellensburg Youth Baseball Softball) where I played 5 years for them along with 2 summers of All Stars. I proceed to join the select team in my county, Ellensburg Synergy. I've been playing with the program for 6 years now. My dad, Nate Phillips, helped me fall in love with the game after always taking me to the high school games where I began to grow bounds with his now past players and the sport itself. The bounds I grew with his players made me realize that softball is what I wanted to do. I cherish all the time on and off the field with my teammates .
My goals are to compete at the college level in softball while pursuing a degree in either criminal justice, kinesiology, or sports medicine to challenge myself both academically and physically while surrounding myself with other committed players.
I currently play for Menace Fastpitch based out of Richland WA, as well as Kittitas High School. I'm proven to be a leader and great teammate on both teams and was awarded Most Valuable Player of the year, and First-Team as a EWAC 2B pitcher. I am one of the starting three pitchers and I am also a dominant shortstop. No matter where I play at on the field, I am a natural leader on and off the field and I will always put 100% effort in to make my dreams become a reality.
