I started select softball in fall of 2018, I think that is the turning point in my career because it is the first time I saw players who worked hard and together as a team. I knew from that point on that was something I wanted to have, so I became determined and dedicated to work hard and achieve that goal. Not only did that help me grow as a player it helped me grow in all other aspects of my life. Academically I got better grades, mentally I became more confident, and socially I was always the quiet kid. Sometimes I still can be but softball really helped me grow out of that by making more friends and having something I can talk about.
I am very thankful that I have had the opportunity to be able to play select and now high school softball because over the years I have played I have learned some very valuable lessons. And glad to say that I'm sure I'll learn many more with teams I play for now and the teams I will play for in the future. Currently I am looking for a school with an engineering program that will also be a good fit for me athletically. I believe I have the talent and values especially with my years left of learning to be a good fit for your team!
