Brooke Richardson...I started playing travel softball when I was 7 years old, I knew I wanted to play at the collegiate level from the beginning. One of my biggest strengths in softball is that I am coach-able. When a coach tells me what I'm doing wrong, I work hard to fix the problem until I'm better. Currently on my travel team (WA Rage 18U) I am seen as a leader. I make sure there is positivity on and off the field. I know that there are always things to improve on. In the process of developing my game on the field, I also continue to aim to be on the top of my game academically too. Without good work ethic and grades, your aptitude on the field could be thrown away. Academics have always been very important to me. When I excel in the classroom I excel on the field. I believe that hard work, dedication and leadership will get me to where I would like to be. I would love to play softball while working towards my career in Medicine. The Pacific Northwest is my home but I would be excited to be given any opportunity to play anywhere.
