Reese Halvorson '22 Recruiting Profile

I’ve wanted to play high level college softball since I can remember. The biggest lesson I’ve learned through my years of travel ball is that I don’t remember the specific plays, at bats, or anything, I remember how I felt and the teammates and coaches that were next to me. I differ from others because I highly value a strong softball IQ and mental toughness, giving me that ”You can‘t be the person who never gives up” mentality. I've worked hard to continue perfecting my academics, my skill, and my mental perspective of the game. I have a lot more work to do, but, I've always worked hard and been raised to do everything with pride and treat others and myself with respect and that's what I plan to continue doing.
