Ginger Gilson '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi coaches, my name is Ginger Gilson, and I am in the graduating class of 2026. Athletics have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with a very competitive group of athletic friends and pushed myself to be the best at all the many sports I tried. I started playing softball when I was 9 and absolutely loved it, I knew that I wanted to take it seriously and make it my career. Since then, I have been putting in the work and will continue to strive for excellence.

I want to play at the collegiate level at a competitive, hardworking school. I am very coachable and crave critique, I'm always looking for ways I can improve. I love finding and playing with people that are better than me and then rising to that level. I am determined and competitive and don't let anything stop me from where I'm headed.

I thrive on hardworking, competitive teams. I understand that if something is easy you aren't improving and I'm always ready to take on the hard parts. I love working with passionate, committed girls who share the love for the sport. I have my team's back and will always be ready to fill any role I'm needed in. I treat my team members as friends and create good chemistry between us on and off the field. I am excited to see where softball takes me and how far I can go.
