Abby Cunningham '20 Recruiting Profile

In college, I aspire to be a hard worker on and off the field. I plan to continue my academic success through high school, and will hold myself to a high standard as a student athlete in college. I also want, and love to build relationships with new people, and teammates. Softball has taught me valuable lessons like dedication, selflessness, and how to play with heart. I will always put my team before me, and as a team player, I understand that every person has a role. Through personal experience, I have both supported the team from the bench, and worked hard to earn a starting spot. As a softball player from Wisconsin, the game is not a year round outside sport, and I have learned that to set myself apart, you will have to put in the extra work while no one else is, which is what I am doing constantly.
