I am Joette Kassa. I am in the graduate class of 2020, so I am going to be a senior. I played for STiKS 16U this summer. My 16U team won 2019 Northern Nationals. I do 4 sports for my school such as Softball, Baseball, Wrestling, and Cross country. I am very different from most softball players because I do wrestling, not just girls wrestling I wrestle guys too. I would like to play at the college level for softball , and I'm hoping you will take a look at me.
I play second base, third base, and outfield. Also I pitch for my high school team but not my travel team. My strengths in softball would have to be my hitting abilities and my fielding. My over all batting avg. Last season was a .625 and I had 3 homeruns. I made amazing plays through out the season last year. Another strength I have is that I'm always trying my hardest and that I never give up on trying new things. I'm always at practices or practicing with my dad. Every morning I go to the gym with my dad and brother at 3:30am to workout to help me get better.
The experiences I'm hoping to have is that I'm hoping to meet new people that are just as good as me or better then me so I can learn from them, and make new friends that I will know for the rest of my life as I keep playing softball. I also want to become a better player from college experiences so that one day I hope I can play in the Olympics. Thank you for reading this and maybe considering on looking at me.
