Hi, I'm Austyn Kinch, a 2028 utility/catcher from Mineral Point, WI. From a young age, I knew I wanted to play collegiate softball. I began playing the sport at the age of 8 and decided to do competitive travel ball at 10. I have loved softball from the beginning and my aspirations are to continue my education while playing the sport I know and love. I strive to belong to a school that will challenges me mentally and physically.
I work year-round on my skills at practices and individually. I currently play for the Wisconsin Bandits 14U traveling team. I have been working hard on diversifying my skill set. I started this summer working on batting left-handed to become a switch hitter. I am comfortable playing any position on the field including catcher. I'm always looking for ways to improve and learn from coaches and peers. Teamwork is extremely important to me because it is crucial to a team's success. I always strive to be the best teammate on and off the field.
Thank you for reading my profile and grateful for any opportunity that may arise.
