Personal Statement

I am one of the captains, and the starting pitcher at Lakeland Union High School in Minocqua Wisconsin. Along with pitching, I have worked hard at multiple positions so that my coach can utilize me wherever I am needed. I work hard on the field as well as in the classroom to ensure that I can match with a school that offers a degree that falls within my interest of either engineering/design, or physical education and sports medicine. My hard work in the classroom has allowed me to achieve a 3.8 gpa, making me an academic and athletic asset to whatever school I am fortunate enough to attend. In the off season, I swim, and continue to work out to ensure that I am pushing myself to improve as a player and athlete. I am looking to attend a college that will allow me to be successful with both softball and academics.

Our team played 10 games in 4 days, with 4 games on Sunday to get into the championship game, and forcing the "if needed" game. We ended up taking 2nd place for the weekend. It was a great effort by our team to continue to battle to earn that showing.
