Morghan Ashwell '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is Morghan Ashwell; I am a 2025 Graduate from Mondovi High School. I am a student athlete that strives for success both athletically and academically. I have been playing softball for 8 years, and have a goal to play at the collegiate level. My favorite positions are pitcher and second base, but I am willing to play where my team needs me except catcher.

I am a great leader and am very eager to try new things while challenging my teammates to be the best athletes they can be. I am a very coachable athlete that is determined to get better in any way possible. I get along with people well and am willing to help others if they need. I love learning new positions and getting outside of my comfort zone to make myself a better athlete. I have been a varsity starter in softball and have played travel softball since I was 9 years old.

In the classroom, I strive to be the best student I can be. As a freshman and sophomore, I enrolled in the Early Childhood Education program at Chippewa Valley Technical College and maintained a 3.0 GPA. Challenging myself academically, and maintaining good grades is important to me because without good grades, I wouldn't be able to do what I love.

I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and on the softball field. I want to find the right college match and become a great role model to all of my peers, and make my parents proud.
