My name is Brianna Heinen. I am 17 years old and a Senior at Port Washington High School. I try very hard to do my best at softball and at school. I watch and follow my grades weekly. School does not come easy for me, but I try and never give up. I am an outgoing person and have many different groups of friends. I feel I am a leader more than a follower. I love to play softball. I have played other sports like volleyball and track and field, but softball has been my #1 sport. I started out playing coach pitch in a Rec. League in Port Washington, and then I moved into the windmill pitching. I took an interest in pitching when my older sister was playing on a travel league as the pitcher. My parents took my sister and I to a pitching clinic to learn more and my love for the game grew even more. I have been going to the same coaches for six years and they have found something to improve on e every time i step foot on the mound. I go to my pitching coaches all winter long and once or twice during the summer for a tune up during the season. I also have been seeing a hitting coach to better my skills when Im up to bat. I had the opportunity to play on a national team for the last 3 years. It was a great experience for me. I have been playing on a travel fast pitch team for many years now. Ive played in many tournaments on the weekends and a weekly double header. This past summer I played on one team and on an a fall ball team through my high school. My dream/goal is to play softball in college.
