I started playing softball at a young age. I played at the same place where my parents just in a younger league. In 2012 I heard from one of my best friends that she was playing this thing called fast pitch. I knew right away that this was going to be for me, so I started to work hard towards making my first club team. Ever since then I knew I wanted to do this sport as long as I possible could. Growing up in such a small town I never dreamed that I could ever go as far as playing in college, but that attitude changed the more I progressed. I realized that college is a dream I could make true if I was willing to put the hard work into it, and I've never been the one to back down from hard work. I give my entire attention to my coaches when they talk to me and take seriously every little hint that they give me. I give 100% at every practice and put in time outside of practices to workout and practice on my own. I want to be able to be the go to hitter that you can trust to get on base and fluster the other team with my base running. I am a natural leader to my team mates and always support them in everyway I can. For the amount of time I focuse on softball, I spend as much or more time maintaining my 4.00 GPA in school. I want to maintain as close as I can to that 4.00 GPA as I can. I hope to continue to play a high level of softball throughout college and never stop learning how to become a better player and a better person through softball. Thank you.
