I would like to join a strong college program that helps me achieve my goals of being the best I can be for myself and for my team, on and off the court. As team captain, promoting team dedication and team work is essential to me for the game. It encourages everyone a part of the team to give it their all out on the court for their team. 

What makes me different from other recruits is that I don't back down from a challenge and I don't quit. If I make a mistake, I learn from it and move on. If you carry that one mistake with you for the rest of the game, you are allowing it to affect how you play which also affects your teammates. Your attitude can set the mood for the whole team, so even if you are upset about a play, you don't let your emotions take control.
