My parents raised me to work hard in everything that I do. I work very hard in the classroom, outside the classroom, in the church, in my relationships, with my teammates, and on the basketball court. I love the game of basketball and everything about it. I have grown up in a house that uses basketball as one of the primary tools to learn the most important things in life. Some of those things are, loving God, investing in quality relationships, and working hard. My dad, a former collegiate player, coaches the boys basketball team at my school alongside my grandpa as assistant coach, My younger brother is a standout player on varsity as a freshman, and several of my extended family members have played at the collegiate level as well. So, naturally, I feel a nudge to pursue this path for the next chapter of my life. However, my family is not the reason I want to play at the next level. I am passionate about becoming the best player I can possibly be and pursuing a quality education. I believe, along with my coaches, that I have the potential to play at the next level, and I work on it daily. I also believe that basketball is a vehicle to help prepare me for the challenges after college and competitive athletics are over.
