Amira Di Sabatino '21 Recruiting Profile

I have played basketball competitively since I was a little girl and have always loved the sport. With hours of practice and training each week, I have only grown to appreciate the sport more while I continue to advance in my skills. On the court I am a good leader, as I have a competitive spirit and am able to create plays that will result in success. I have been awarded as MVP and have been the team captain all throughout high school. Trust is one of the most important qualities a team must have with one another. Being able to rely on each other and communicate is something that is really important on a team and is something that leads to success. The endurance I possess is something that I believe is really valuable to a team. While my competitive nature and drive to succeed motivates me, I am able to preserve  from difficult losses, to leading a team in a  gold medal game. As a student I am committed to high achievements on and off the court., as my longterm academic goal is to become a lawyer. I recognize this goal will take hard work and commitment similar to what I want to achieve on the basketball court.
