I've always aspired to play college basketball, and compete in the faster-paced games. At the start of grade 10, I moved two hours away from my parents to be closer to my club team. This experience taught me responsibility, independence, and discipline.

At the end of that year, I tore my ACL and spent the next year supporting my teammates from the sidelines, developing my patience. Through the recovery, I learned how to overcome the mental challenges that come with the healing process.

I believe that with my strong work ethic, I can make a positive impact on any team while continuing to grow as a student and person, to set up my best future possible.
