Madi Hatfield '26 Recruiting Profile

The minute I stepped onto the basketball court for the first time, I fell in love with the sport. I have been playing since I was 10 years old and always dreamed to be where I am at right now. I train daily to improve my skills and work to be the best player I can be. I am very coachable and love to apply corrections to help make me a better player. Playing college basketball has been a dream of mine since I started playing.

I always strive to be a source of positive encouragement to my teammates, while trying to lift them up and make them better players. I am strong in the post; making layups, jump shots, and being aggressive through contact while drawing fouls. I do not talk back or argue with my coaches or refs, I take corrections and apply them to my skills. I am a very hard worker and strive daily to be the most productive I can be. 

I hope to study nursing at a college that could provide a great education for me, while also giving me the opportunity to play competitive basketball. I have co-coached middle school girl's basketball for two years and plan to keep coaching until I graduate. I am an active volunteer at my church with the children ministry. I would love to have the chance to play college basketball, to fulfill my childhood dream, and make my coaches and family proud.
