Tailynn Harrell '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi! My name is Tailynn Harrell and I have been an aspiring athlete since I was 2. I started out as a competitive gymnast and then transitioned to basketball. My collegiate goals include playing competitive female basketball and wanting to take my skills to the next level. I would be a great candidate for anyone's team because I am a hard worker, very coachable, I put my own work in outside of the gym and overall, I am a very reliable/dependable player, teammate and person. I am different from other recruits because I work my very hardest in all things I participate in. I show my teammates respect and I am one of their most supportive teammates, I show respect to my coaches and take constructive criticism and direction very well. I started playing basketball late in my 8th grade year and I've trained to catch up to and exceed other players in my age division. You will always find me at a gym and if not that, in my driveway working on ball handling and shooting. My academic goals include becoming a Sports Medicine Physican. For that career path, I have already started attending Sport Athletic Training workshops at college campuses. I am passionate about my academic and athletic goals, and I am willing to put the work and effort in for training and development to positively impact a team.
