Laila Salazar '23 Recruiting Profile

My dream has always been to play basketball at the collegiate level. In the past, I would play year round with my school and my AAU team (Cal Storm). Unfortunately, early in my junior season, I tore my ACL and was unable to play for a full year. The summer of my senior season was spent on rehabbing my knee instead of playing in the AAU circuit. My goal was to play my senior season and spent countless hours trying to get cleared. After a full year of rehab, I was able to play my full senior season, helping my team get to the CIF semifinals and CIF state playoffs.
