Jacqueline "Jackie" Cox '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello,

My name is Jackie Cox. I am a confident and intelligent 5’9” Class of 2023 Shooting Guard, Point Guard, and Small Forward from Archbishop Mitty High School and AAU San Jose Cagers in San Jose, California. Right now I’m #45 on San Jose Cagers Platinum.

During the summer to present, I am training with Coach Packie Turner of the Golden State Warriors. I have learned so much from Coach Packie on improving my ball handling, shooting, and drills to be ready for my senior year and to play college level basketball.

I have the determination, discipline, hard work,  ethics, and passion to play basketball at the next level.

As a hardworking and passionate player, it is my goal to play college basketball. I would like to pursue a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or  Environmental Sciences. I sincerely believe that I would be a great fit to your program.

Why coach me? First and foremost, listening to my coach is my most important asset. I also believe that defense is one of my best assets to the game. I always work hard especially on defense because defense wins games. I would always guard the quickest player on the opposite team and do my absolute best to shut them down.

Teamwork is very key to a basketball team’s success. “Teamwork is in the dreamwork.”
